Join Veronica for a 3-hour introduction to Kundalini Yoga. If you are new to Kundalini yoga and want to learn the basics of the practice, or a Hatha yogi looking to expand your experience of yoga, this workshop is for you!
In this workshop, you’ll learn all about the practice of Kundalini yoga, including:
History of Kundalini yoga and how it was brought to the West
Differences between Kundalini yoga and other styles of yoga
Overview and structure of a typical Kundalini yoga class
Fundamentals of the practice: body locks, breath techniques, eye gaze, mantra and more
Kundalini yoga is a dynamic practice that uses postures, the breath, chanting, and meditation to balance and energize the body, mind and spirit. The practice can feel a bit overwhelming to a beginner, and this workshop is designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills to feel confident in your practice.
Over the course of the morning, you will experience several kriyas (yoga sets) and meditations that will give you a beautiful overview and understanding of Kundalini Yoga.
